Sydney Wuu
Sydney Wuu (‘20) is a staff writer for the Webb Canyon Chronicle. Born in Pasadena, California, Sydney has lived abroad in both Gibraltar and Manila. Her cross-cultural experiences have shaped her passion for hearing new perspectives. She joined the WCC team her sophomore year to explore her love of reading and writing, and perceives journalism as a platform for expression. Sydney was first exposed to the modern media associated with visual communication during Media Arts her freshman year. She especially enjoys covering articles related to lifestyle, culture, and travel. Sydney is the VWS sophomore class president; she manages class meetings and keeps her peers informed about ASB events. Sydney is also a three-season athlete; she participates in tennis, water polo, and swimming.
