“Let It Happen,” Tame Impala

This song is all about change coming towards you while you are helpless to stop it. A mix of Tame Impala’s classic rock and some electronic beats, this piece is an embodiment of the color orange. An orange that can be seen when the sun sets, disappearing from view with a magnificent array of its richest shades. Around the four-minute mark, the haunting melody reminds of a new horizon, which inspires innate hopefulness and provides a great transition for arguably the best part of the song at 6:15, after the bridge where the signature part of the song has an extra bass added. Although the song is lengthy at almost eight minutes long, each second of the music does not disappoint
