VWS Varsity Soccer

VWS varsity soccer is kicking off the season strong and successful, remaining undefeated within the first month of games. With this impressive record of wins, the team is anticipating a shot at holding the title of San Joaquin League Champions for the second time in Vivian Webb history. Goalkeeper Bridgette Lee (‘20) stands her ground to ensure that the other teams cannot score, leading to several shutouts already.

Team captain Emily Stepanian (‘19) said, “I’m really proud of the team so far. We have been working so hard and it really shows on the field. I think we have the potential to go undefeated in the league and go far in CIF.” Post-season play is on the horizon as the team continues to practice and perform vigorously.
