Amelie Cook
Amelie Cook (‘20) is the Editor of News and the Editor of Opinion for the Webb Canyon Chronicle. She is a day student who has lived in Claremont since she was five years old. She is captain of the VWS varsity cross country team and varies the afternoon activities she does in other seasons. She loves listening to music and reading murder mysteries, especially those by Stephen King. Amelie chose journalism because she viewed it as an exciting opportunity to improve her writing skills. She enjoys writing about news and pop culture and has a particular interest in investigative journalism. Amelie is looking forward to fulfilling her new roles as Editor of News and Editor of Opinion in her second year of Journalism.
