Asteroid City

Director Wes Anderson has done it again! With a large ensemble cast, his upcoming movie, Asteroid City, takes place at a stargazing convention, where parents and students gather for a scholarly competition. Hopefully, Anderson, known for his witty and heartwarming stories, and gorgeous cinematography, won’t hold back with Asteroid City. 

“I’m so excited to watch Asteroid City,” said Neria Spence (‘24), president of the Film Cub. “Wes Anderson is my favorite director, and I can’t wait to see how great this movie is going to be!”. 

Some very familiar faces from the film industry are expected to make an appearance including Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston, Williem Dafoe and Jeff Goldblum. The cast alone sparks excitement, and on June 23rd we will get to see whether expectations will be met!
