Hulu

Netflix’s toughest rival by far is Hulu. As of 2019, Hulu is now an official subsidiary under the Walt Disney Company. Similar to Netflix, Hulu also rents shows from other productions. Recently, they also started to create Hulu exclusive content, including the hit TV drama The Handmaid’s Tale, Ramy, and Light as a Feather which have shot to popularity in the past few years. In the future, Hulu subscribers can also expect more Disney productions on Hulu, along with  a three-way package of access to Hulu, Disney, and ESPN. In terms of pricing, Hulu offers two packages: the basic package starting at $5.99 per month, and a premium package for $11.99 per month.
