Let creativity flow

When feeling stressed, pick up some pens and let the creativity flow onto a canvas or paper – painting, drawing, writing, and any forms that involve creativity are all great de-stressers.

In fact, creativity can improve mental health as much as active outdoor activities can. Why not create something and submit to the Breakfast magazine to blow off steam?

“I always use my art projects to manage stress,” said Riya Patel (‘21). It is something I do in the summer, and it helps me stay focused and relaxed at the same time. Completing an art project is very satisfying, and I like the feeling of relaxation out of it.”
