Mason Stallings
Mason Stallings, a boarding student from Los Angeles, enjoys all things related to camping, adventure, and the great outdoors. Mason has spent a lot of time with family exploring inland areas of the country. He especially loves going on long backpacking trips over the summer. Mason describes the feeling he gets from camping as “secondhand fun.” He believes that camping allows him to push himself to reach the peak and experience a rush of satisfaction at the top. When asked about how he plans to continue exploring nature at Webb, Mason said, “Before freshman year, I went on the Peccary Trip over the summer and really enjoyed it. It’s a wonderful program, and I found some amazing fossils and seashells. It is so great to learn more about the animals in the area millions of years before me. I am very interested in taking Honors Paleo my sophomore year. Webb offers so many math and science opportunities! I don’t think there is enough time for me to learn everything I want in just four years.”
