“Sweater Weather,” The Neighbourhood

Such a gray song, a mix of both of the shades black and white. There is a reason why this has become a popular rainy-day song, connecting it to cloudy gray skies and torrents of rain. There is an air of nostalgia that cannot really be pinpointed, but it encapsulates the feeling of sad hopeless happiness all in one. Moreover, the band encapsulates the theme of the song perfectly in their album cover featuring a black-and-white cloudy sky. To top it off, even the music video takes a 1960s approach using monochrome or grayscale filter.
