Savanna Cespedes

You probably have heard of the mom of the friend group, but have you ever heard of the mom of Webb? Well, if you have not, it is Savanna Cespedes. Whether it is as the captain of the VWS varsity volleyball team, head day student prefect, President of the Art Club, an admission fellow, or even just in her friend group, Savanna makes it her top priority to care for the people around her. When Savanna is not baking Christmas cookies for her friends or organizing top-notch friendsgivings, she is spending time with her family, watching her favorite baseball team the Angels, or blasting 2000’s throwbacks on trips to the beach with friends. Savanna is involved in every event under the sun at Webb, but her favorite is the back-to-school dance where everyone brings tons of school spirit to kick off the year. Savanna is passionate and does everything to the fullest, from organizing events to playing volleyball in and outside of Webb. She has played club volleyball for the past ten years and could not bear to part with the sport that has become a part of her, so she will be playing for the Pomona Pitzer Volleyball team next year when she attends Pomona College. Savanna will be majoring in neuroscience and hopes to go into pediatric medicine where she will pursue a career that will allow her to continue helping others. There is no one else quite like Savanna and the Webb community will miss their mom.

Savanna will pride herself on being the mom and she has all the best characteristics of a mom she can tell when something’s wrong, she will organize something to make you feel right, and she will be there for you no matter how long, how much energy, or how much time it takes.
