Catherine Chen

Catherine Chen is a charming little fairy who will wave all your sorrows away, give you the warmest hug, and work her magic to put a smile on your face. Catherine is funny yet thoughtful, shy yet confident, and quiet yet expressive. When it comes to self-expression, she always finds ways to reveal her creativity and vivid imagination through different forms of art. While juggling academic responsibilities and college applications, Catherine always made time for drawing and exploring herself through hip–hop and contemporary dance. Her endless love for art extends itself to Webb’s Dance Studio, where she has displayed her unique style through her remarkable performances in Webb’s annual winter dance shows. In addition to her interest in drawing and dance, Catherine is the queen of origami, creating intricate designs ranging from paper lilies to peacocks. She leads Webb’s Origami Club as her craft is what she is exceptionally passionate about. Next year, Catherine will head to the USC School of Pharmacy to apply her fairy powers to Pharmacology and Drug Development.
