Angie Zhang

Angie Zhang’s laughter — followed by clapping out of pure habit —can be heard from any part of campus. Angie is described as hardworking, whether it is shouting the most out-of-pocket phrases loudest in public, working on the next APES project, or carrying out her role as head day student prefect. Angie has a powerful leadership presence as the captain player on VWS golf for four years. Angie will miss the people at Webb when she goes off to college, never forgetting the support and moments of laughter from her closest friends. Angie’s friends describe her as the bubbliest person you will ever meet, always expecting to laugh until their stomachs hurt when they are around her. On the weekends, she loves cooking with Jonah, going out with family and friends, or staying up until 3:00 am playing Minecraft. As she is both spontaneous and indecisive, Angie cities Geoffery Canty’s “don’t let the tyranny of the ‘or’ defeat the power of the ‘and,’” as her favorite quote. With her time at Webb ending soon, Angie wishes she could have done more of what she wanted instead of grinding at golf, even if she is the best player on campus. Because of this, Angie has become one of the best people to make memories with in her last weeks at Webb. At Tufts University, Angie will still be seen cycling through her quirky emotes and cheering people up with her infectious laughter and genuine care.
