Pierre Sun is Webb’s very own Peter Parker – he might not fight crime, but he holds many secrets. To the outside world, Pierre is intelligent, quiet, and, as many of his friends describe him, gentle. However, he holds much greater power. Behind his soft exterior, Pierre is a secret Gordon Ramsey. On a Friday night, you might catch him drinking a cold glass of Coke garnished with metal ice cubes and searing a filet mignon as Cai Xukun plays in the background. Pierre enjoys indulging in the finer things in life and never skimps when it comes to preparing any of his meals, a trait that carries to his academic pursuits. Although he might not have a Tony Stark lab, Webb’s laboratories helped nurture his love for Biomedical Engineering, a subject he will explore further at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Although he has not yet developed a high-tech web shooter, do not be surprised if Pierre creates a way for humans to evolve into their very own versions of the Avengers. As he spends his final moments at Webb, Pierre will miss the Theme Nights and Webb Idols that have created unbreakable bonds of friendship. He will never forget the memories he has made and the community he has become so comfortable in. Although the future might be scary, he continues to live by his favorite quote from Kung Fu Panda: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, that is why it’s called the present.”
