Ochuru Ochuru

Ochuru Ochuru has a major passion for movies that goes beyond just enjoying them: he is fascinated by the filmmaking process, particularly directing, producing, and the business industry itself. Ochuru has a deep admiration and interest for the artistry and creativity that goes into creating many different types of films, his favorite films being Memento and Love and Basketball because they are good and classic movies. Ochuru has also started his filming career by making some short films for fun, and he is mainly interested in the horror/thriller genre of films and romcoms. Beyond Ochuru’s love for filmmaking, he also values his time with friends at Webb and cherishes the memories they have together. One of his favorite memories is when he and his friends went to the movie theaters to see Marvel’s Eternals after going to the store and buying many bags of snacks to bring to the theaters so they could have a fun and chaotic time. As he looks back on his journey at Webb, Ochuru advises his freshman self and others to put themselves out there and embrace every opportunity to create meaningful experiences, as time will fly by before they know it. Throughout his Webb years, Ochuru has loved the events that Webb has, especially theme nights. After graduating from Webb and attending the University of Southern California majoring in business administration and film/television production, Ochuru hopes to pursue a career in a production company to bring his film-related aspirations to life.

He reminds me of the giraffe from Madagascar, I feel like if that character left the friend group, it would all fall apart, like he is the glue to any relationship.
