Abbey Cook

The girl who can do it all, Abbey Cook, excels in every aspect of life. The Upland native has been playing soccer as soon as she could walk, she dreams of bringing her soccer skills to the professional pitch after she receives her B.S. from the Wharton school of the University of Pennsylvania. Though Abbey is excited for her future of playing Division 1 soccer at UPenn, she is also going to miss the many memories that she has made at Webb, combined with her performance of a lifetime as Hannah Montana in Theme Nights her senior year and her record-breaking experience on Webb’s Varsity Girl’s soccer and track team. Cook was able to exceed the record for most goals in a soccer season and Webb career. While running for the track team, she set the 4x400 meters relay record and 400 meters record in 59.81 seconds. Not only has this beast excelled at being a student athlete and has never disappointed her teachers, teammates, or coaches, Abbey is also kind and selfless — one of the best friends you could have. She is a friend that will always be there for you and never turn down a spontaneous adventure to the beach or the mountains. Abbey is all around a person that you will be lucky to call your friend.

We were at Hangar 18 our freshman year for outdoor activity and Abbey incorrectly harnessed the belay backwards, so Ms. Nacionales had to do an emergency belay switch. After that day, I never trusted Abbey to belay me again.
