Dan+Danylov

Dan Danylov

Dan Danylov, an authentic soul and rebel in his own right, channels his passions and life experiences into his art. He displays himself through his radical artworks, from his abstract portrayals of the war in his home country, Ukraine, to a replica of the wooden walls often seen in traditional Eastern European cottages. Dan always shows up unapologetically as himself; he doesn’t change himself to fit the mold of others but resists in his identity and waits for the mold to rearrange itself. Being both artsy and original, Dan truly embodies the spirit of his dorm, Jones. In Jones, Dan not only serves the role of head prefect, but he is also Jones’ caring, advice-giving, and goofy uncle. He is the kind of person who will take the time to help a freshman out when they have questions about whether they should wash their socks after just one use. If you ever come around Jones during the late hours, you will likely find Dan sacrificing his sleep to connect with his friends and family on the other side of the world. While Dan’s giggles and art collages will be missed at Webb, he will be taking UC San Diego by storm in the fall. In his next venture, Dan will delve into studying Political Science, bringing his artistic spirit and unwavering authenticity to his studies.

Dan is the bear from Masha and the Bear. He always helps you with the mission, like the bear helps the little girl Masha.
