Reece Ollivierre

Reece Ollivierre’s favorite candy is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but make sure to “c” that her name is spelled correctly. Smooth, sweet, and a little nutty, you might be allergic to her interesting humor and jokes, but Reece cannot help but become everyone’s favorite. Although she doesn’t call herself a leader, her impact speaks for itself. A hardworking soul, Reece juggles multiple responsibilities as captain of varsity soccer and track, a Black Affinity leader, and being the mature one in her friend group, (most of the time), yet she still makes time for fun. Whether it’s hitting up three dessert shops in one day with Kaylynn, driving the scenic route to the beach with friends and family, or planning road trips to NorCal on the fly, Reece loves the little adventures she finds along the way. Experimenting with dessert recipes without measurements because “it feels right,” or speeding on the highway during a late-night drive, Reece pieces these moments together one at a time. As a cat, capybara, and cringe memes connoisseur, Reece makes her friends question their lives, yet they cannot help but laugh along with her. Her dreams with science include genetically engineering a bald purple cat with wings for a pet, but for now, she hopes to first explore neuroscience research at Barnard College in New York. Although the future scares her a tad bit, Reece hopes to embrace the transition from a “not-so-LA” LA girl to a New York gal, where she will continue “cooking” in the lab and living her best life in the city.
