Jessica Cao

Jessica Cao has been on fire for the past four years. Blazing from Ningbo, China, she has become an independent fighter who always seizes her opportunities. Despite starting as a newbie tennis player when she first came to Webb, Jessica practiced hard during her sophomore year and soon found herself becoming one of the best players on the varsity team. Even over zoom, Jessica spoke out actively and greatly improved her English speaking skills. As a co-chair leader for Webb’s orchestra, Jessica can always be found playing her violin at the center of the stage during concerts. Regardless of her intimidating instrumental skill, she is also easy to get along with. In her freshman year, Jessica loved singing in the bathroom with Lucy and Season late at night and creating their own rap songs before getting scolded by the prefect. Now, on the other side of scale, Jessica exudes a mom vibe around her friends. She is the best person to ask for comfort in the middle of the night and always has snacks to share with her friends. During breaks, she cooks Chinese food for her friends and explores restaurants in Downtown Los Angeles. With her abilities and persistence, Jessica is going to USC to major in Business and keep her fire burning.

Jessica is like a teddy bear: she is a fun person to hang out with and always offers good hugs.
