Gabby Diaz

Similar to the events in episodes of the iconic American cartoon series Phineas and Ferb, you will always find Gabby Diaz jumping at the chance to make every day an unforgettable adventure. She is one of the most loyal, analytical, and soft-spoken yet opinionated individuals you may come across on campus. In fact, Gabby’s close friends say she embodies the character Ferb. Although she may be quiet, her presence lights up the room. So when she does talk, you know it will be important. Born in Honolulu, and raised in Rancho Cucamonga, Gabby’s adaptability in new environments has made her an approachable and friendly face for many students at Webb. From being a peer advisor to an active leader in the Webb dance program, Gabby has left an imprint in all areas of the Webb community. Notably, her choreography has won Webb Idol for Alamo several times and her easy-to-learn moves have been featured in Theme Nights. In addition to her impressive dance background, Gabby’s thoughtful personality shines through her passion for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program at Webb. One of her favorite memories was attending the Student Diversity Leadership Conference her junior year with several other Webb students at a house in Rancho Cucamonga; activities in their free time included movie nights and boba runs (even though she is lactose intolerant). Gabby not only gained a fresh perspective while at the conference but also an invaluable bond with other faculty and students. After Gabby’s 104 days of summer vacation, she plans to move to the east coast to study Public Health Administration at New York University. She hopes to continue her interest in both science and business while following in the footsteps of her mother in the medical industry.

When you play bed wars with Gabby, you can rely on her to make the best defense because as she is in bed wars and in person, she’s caring and loyal, but she doesn’t always have to be on the front lines to go fight other people. Sometimes she just stays and you know she has your back.
