Aidan Yeung

Having long luxurious hair and always working on a painting, Aidan Yeung is a cottagecore girl at heart. His dream life would be to live in a cottage, grow a garden, and make a living through painting. Unsurprisingly then, one of Aidan’s favorite things to do is to paint nature. His favorite piece is called “White Flowers” where he quite literally painted a white flower. As can be seen by the name, Aidan is not someone to ponder the abstract meaning of things. In fact, Aidan stays grounded in everyday things. Some of his favorite memories at Webb are going to hot pot with friends, taking art class with Dr. Greco and Ms. Leishman, swimming, and playing water polo. As a fifth-year senior, Aidan could not compete in swim and water polo this year; nevertheless, he was at the pool practicing every day. Though he is disappointed about not being able to compete, Aidan cheers himself up by acting as the self-described “team mom” on the swim team, making sure everyone gets to their races on time. Aidan’s carefree aura is certainly a breath of fresh air in the bustling environment of Webb as he is able to laugh at himself from time to time, like when he spilled a trail of In-N-Out on the way up to his dorm. As he embarks on the next journey of his life, Aidan plans to continue his passion for art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he will continue to find joy in the little things in life.

You can be super genuine around Aidan. I think that’s really rare to find.
