TJ Ahn

TJ Ahn, National Merit Scholarship recipient, fell asleep but still managed to get  an almostperfect score on the PSAT. TJ enjoys spending his free time playing video games in his dorm room. Closing out the school year, his favorite Webb memory was the end-of-year party last year. It was his first proper endofyear at Webb, and everyone was looking forward to summer break with exciting plans awaiting. On top of his favorite experiences, his favorite teacher is Mr. John Choi, Director of Equity, because he is very approachable and relaxing to talk to. Partly why his favorite class is medicinal chemistry is because he enjoys Mr. Choi teaching him about how different drugs and medication works. Tj doesn’t attend all Webb events but Webb Idol is among his favorite due to the amount of creativity behind the performances as well as the spectacular performances he enjoys watching. When he is off to college, he is going to miss the small community aspect that Webb provides, as well as the trust of leaving his bag laying around without it getting stolen. TJ plans to major in design because he wants to pursue art and values practicality; although unsure he knows he wants to design something that is useful.

We became close when I was going through a lot of stuff personally, so I will always value him as was one of the first people that I could lean on.
