Austin Ra

Austin Ra is instantly recognizable throughout the Webb community. Many people know him for his role as an emcee at any day student prefect event or for his hard–hitting interviews and journalistic skill shown in the Austin on the Block series. To the outside world, Austin is just another outgoing goofball with a magnetic personality, however, to his friends, Austin is an enigmatic individual, equal parts comic and pensive. When he is not influencing the cultural mores of Webb’s student body, he enjoys quiet, quality time with his brother, Nolan, and his two dogs, Allie and Buster. Austin didn’t take a traditional path to Webb. He started his high school career at Damien, in neighboring La Verne, and started his Webb experience online as a sophomore. Austin hit the block for the first time his junior year, and in his two short years on Webb’s campus, he created a name for himself through his charismatic energy and uniquely dry sense of humor, building a loyal following of “Blockheads” (devoted Austin on the Block fans). Austin will study Biology with a minor in Business at the University of Southern California, in hopes of one day taking over the family business and becoming a dentist. Before he moves on to the next chapter, Austin has a message for the Blockheads, “Sorry, we only had three one-episode seasons, but who knows, maybe Austin on the Block will live on at USC.”
