Jacob Arias

Jacob Arias is a compelling mystery. His calm attitude masks a steadfast presence as he thoughtfully supports others behind the scenes. He strikes a wonderful balance between being soft on the inside, with the biggest heart you can imagine, and being tough on the outside, exhibiting strength and perseverance in all he does. Despite his seemingly serious attitude, Jacob has a humorous and goofy side with his friends. He has an uncanny ability to lighten the mood and make everyone around him grin with his clever remarks. He effortlessly crosses gaps and brings people together –– getting along with almost everyone. Jacob is not just a friend, but also a leader. At Webb, he has demonstrated remarkable passion for sports as the captain of the varsity football team for the 2022-2023 season. His favorite memories, though, were during his freshman year with his friend group. During that period, he built long-lasting bonds with his team, instilling a sense of solidarity and belonging within a close-knit family. His love of biology fuels his long-term goal to pursue medical school and a career in oncology. Jacob hopes to contribute to the fight against cancer and lessen the pain of patients and their families. For now, Jacob is heading to Flagstaff, Arizona where he will be attending Northern Arizona University, to study as well as acquire real-world experience through internships. Jacob intends to enjoy the most out of his college years while indulging in stereotypical college-kid vices.
