Francesca Lascano

Francesca Lascano is unapologetically herself. For her class president address her freshman year, she mimicked the popular “Stanky Fishy” song, admittedly losing some dignity in the process. Despite her slight regret, Francesca won in the polls, a testament to her ability to embrace her distinct eccentricities and ability to authentically connect with others. With the biggest heart, Francesca makes everyone feel comfortable even when they are not, making light of any situation. However, she also has the tendency to say the most out–of–pocket sentences known to man at the worst time, but you can’t help but to laugh. In spite of her impulsive, sometimes shocking, words, she expresses her kindness and unabashed individuality in areas such as community service with Webb. While others cuddled with the smaller puppies, Francesca’s unique charm and compassion attracted her to an older dog named Pablo. Her persistent, youthful energy made Pablo feel young again and open up. After months of waiting, he was adopted thanks to her love. Francesca anticipates missing the close-knit relationships she has fostered at Webb as she gets ready to start the next phase of her life. Francesca will be attending the University of Michigan, studying drug development, her interest first originating from Medicinal Chemistry with Mr. Choi.  She has a special place in her heart for her close friends at Webb, and she values the degree of intimacy and comfort she has more than anything else.
