Ghost Hunting and Divinations

Ghost Hunting gave me the opportunity to go to the Queen Mary, which was something I had only seen on TV. It was such a thrilling experience and I would never have expected to be able to take a tour on a haunted ship.

Students spent three days exploring elements of paranormal, psychic, and meditative activity. Victoria Gross, an experienced clairvoyant and medium, guided the group in a number of spiritual and supernatural investigations. During the introduction, she showed students behind- the-scenes and aired footage of ghosts and auras she had experienced while filming for her television show, “Casefiles: Unknown” and writing her book, Ghosts of Orange County. She also accompanied the group on the Fullerton “Ghost Walk,” where students visited the haunted home of Lillian Yeager and the Fox Theater, which is no longer open to the public. Other experts such as Kristin Nestor, a crystal soul reader and healer at Kindred Spirits, taught students about energy and how rocks can be used to realign our inner chakras. The last day, a guided tour through the Queen Mary and investigation at Webb, seemed to be the highlight of the trip. As students explored the Queen Mary, they were granted access to some of the ships most haunted places such as the engine room and bow of the ship. When they returned to campus, professional ghost hunters brought their equipment and led students through faculty homes and the Alamo catacombs in search of paranormal activity.
