Maya Jaffe (‘20)

As soon as school ends, Maya Jaffe (‘20) is going on a Webb trip to Greece with Stephanie Plumley. The trip focuses on Greek architecture and ruins, and also includes olive oil tasting. During the school year, Maya works in theatre tech, so she is interested to explore the history of theatre. Additionally, Maya has never been to Greece, so she is especially excited to visit a new country and explore a new culture. After Greece, she will go to Israel to celebrate her cousin’s bar mitzvah. This trip will be her second visit, the first being her brother’s bar mitzvah celebration. Once Maya returns to Claremont, she will focus on her college applications by researching colleges, writing drafts for essays, and prepping for the SAT and ACT.
