Willy Martinez (‘19)

After graduation, Willy Martinez (‘19) will fly south to Cabo San Lucas with a few close friends. Willy and his friends do not have specific plans for the trip, but JP Calderoni (‘19), who lives in Cabo, will likely show them around and take them camping. After his senior trip, Willy will work at a daycare in Sierra Madre, a job that he has held for the past few summers. This year, he will work with kids who are preschoolers to fifth graders, and will teach them mathematics and English. After classes finish, he will play games and activities with the kids. Willy is fortunate to have a long summer as move-in for Santa Clara University is not until September 20th. Nonetheless, he is very excited for college and cannot wait for what lies ahead.
