Sam Cardenas

Though quiet and laid back, Sam Cardenas has proven to be an active leader on and off the football field. One of his favorite memories was during freshman football summer practices, when Chris Haliburton trucked both Sam and Jacob Arias after they were talking back to him. Sam claims that this experience definitely taught them a lesson. Out of the classroom, Sam’s personality is described by his friends as funny, competitive, talkative, and caring. They have compared him to Eeyore, Winnie the Pooh, and Danny Phantom for his kindness, easygoingness, helpfulness, and compassion. A highlight in Sam’s high school career is Ms. Kapp’s Spanish class as she urges him to learn more about the language and the different cultures of Spanish speaking countries. Sam enjoys Theme Nights , Casino Night, the Holiday Paty, and prom, where he was able to spend more time with friends and create memories. He cherishes every moment with them, for after he graduates, is going to miss these relationships that he made at Webb more than anything.

Sam is a silent leader; you don’t realize how much they impacted you and affected you until they are gone.
