Riley Fass
You might know Riley Fass as the soundboard operator for various Webb events such as Theme Nights, Jubilee, and weekly Chapel. But you might not know the reason behind why Riley is so good at her job: her excellent listening skills. The soundboard operator’s position requires precision, adaptability, and dedication — all of which Riley has in addition to her caring nature. Nothing matches up to the care she has for her friends, her passion for her classes, and her hard work in the theater. Her favorite memory at Webb was the 2022 production of Mamma Mia! when she painted tiles on the stage and listened to music with the crew while eating cake and Spooners. Riley makes sure to bring all the qualities she’s learned from theater to all aspects of her life, including advocating for students through her leadership position as chair of the honor cabinet. Throughout her Webb journey, Riley set her eyes on what she wanted to dedicate her care, passion, and time to: neuroscience. Inspired by Dr. Beikmann’s Neuroscience class and the experience of her own neurological condition, Riley is determined to explore and make discoveries within this field of science. Although she will miss the lengthy conversations with friends and stunning productions at Webb, Riley will tie her listening skills, dedication, and patience to Bryn Mawr college, with a major in Neuroscience and minor in Psychology.
