Julia Tyck

Julia Tyck checks every box to be any Webbie’s certified big sister. Hailing from Glendora, her understanding and forgiving character enables her to be a distinguished role-model and an empathetic co-chair of the VWS Honor Cabinet. Outside of her leadership position, however, Julia’s benevolent character still shines. At any given opportunity, Julia can be found performing acts of kindness for someone else. She is the first to present the perfect advice or hop onto Zoom for a movie night. At the same time, Julia is always unapologetically herself; whether it is making weird faces when someone says something questionable or dramatically sighing when annoyed, she never waters down her personality. As a freshman intimidated by upperclassmen, she used to dislike going to the Price Dining Hall by herself. Looking back on this silly fear, Julia can now make any stranger feel comfortable within seconds. An avid Dominic Fike and Steve Lacy fan, Julia loves all things music and spends her weekends at concerts or festivalswearing a thoroughly planned outfit, of course. In the spring, you can catch her sitting on a blanket and supporting her friends from the sidelines as they perform in Webb’s annual Jubilee. She plans to incorporate her love for music into her studies at Barnard College, where she will major in economics and begin the foundation to later work in the music business. Although she will be moving coasts, Julia’s energy and fast-paced lifestyle will make her a perfect fit in New York City.

Julia is just the number one Webb student. She is kind, empathetic, silly, and insanely smart. Like super insanely smart. Like, no one knows how smart she really is.
