In five years, watch out because Matt Maschler will be the coolest guy you have ever known, undoubtedly working for F1 or driving cutting edge medical research. Despite his huge ambitions, Matt is a chill and down–to–earth presence on the Webb campus. As a head peer advisor, he is sure to be there for anyone and is a big brother to many of the freshmen even though he is the little brother of his own family. Matt spends a lot of his time on campus with friends, and together, they make the most of out of Webb experiences, even the failed 2022 Sophomore Dance. Even when he wasn’t feeling his best, Matt followed through on his commitment of being the big brother he is, serving as an example. He pushed through hiking the Trans-Catalina trail and now looks back on it with a sense of humor. This speaks to who Matt is as a person — amiable, sociable, motivated, and overall, just a funny guy. Matt has many other responsibilities on campus besides being a leader and lending a hand to everyone. As the captain of the cross country team for the past two years, you can often find Matt running up and down Mongo Hill behind his mentor, Brian Caldwell. The next path Matt is taking is sure to be a great one as he is headed off to Santa Clara University to major in medical engineering.
