If you ever walk by Chandler, you might see Ayan Kaushal hitting dingers on the baseball field. Ayan has been a three-sport varsity athlete his whole career at Webb, taking part in the football and basketball teams, as well as serving as captain for the baseball team. Last year, he secured Webb’s 2023 athlete of the year award, a testament to his determined and hardworking mindset as an athlete. Sports allow him to be free and authentic in addition to doing what he enjoys most.  Ayan’s favorite Webb memory is travelling to Avalon for a baseball game and getting to spend quality time with his teammates outside of school. If you ever catch Ayan outside of the diamond, he will likely be hanging out with his friends or family, or occasionally playing video games. Although he is going to miss the small Webb community, he is excited to be attending University of San Diego where he will study Biology. While he is unsure if he is going to play baseball at San Diego, whatever Ayan chooses to pursue, he is going to hit it out of the park.
