When the sun is shining bright, Alejandro Fountain and his convertible Volkswagen Beetle will undoubtedly be in sight. When he’s not cruising around, he’s a beacon of leadership, dating back to his freshman year when he was class president and now as the head of the honor council. Ale has been very involved during his time at Webb. Outside of the academic day, Ale shines as a three-sport athlete. On the varsity football team and soccer team, he is a team captain and participates in track during the spring season where he is a CIF qualifying pole vaulter. His car is as vibrant and welcoming as they come, a bug that invites you in with its top down; the same can be said for Ale’s personality. He is always making new friends, and if you are ever around Ale and a group of people, he will always make you feel included. His choice of major is inspired by family members around him, Ale is heading to Howard University to study mechanical engineering. Although Ale can’t wait to go to D.C., he will miss the people on campus and the summer football practices when the hot sun shines on faculty field, where some of his closest friendships started.
