Kate is like the Baby Sun from the Teletubbies. Just like how the Baby Sun laughs when seeing something funny, Kate giggles when explaining her conviction that Shohei Ohtani is secretly married to her. Even after breaking her finger in a grueling water polo game (catching a ball during one-on-nobody practice), Kate was still at practice every day joyfully chatting up the managers at the sidelines. Besides her role on the water polo team, Kate is also your friendly Head DSP in the library and swim captain (Kate never leaves the pool) who helps in planning seasonal DSP Socials and coaching JV swim. As she heads off to Smith College to study Anthropology, Kate will miss her Webb friends but is also excited to uplift new friends with her positive energy. Like how she ends her sentences with her signature laugh, Kate will finish out the year with a blast!
Whenever I can’t make up my mind, I just ask Kate. Like Kate, should I get pink lemonade or diet coke? She was like, just get pink lemonade, so I got pink lemonade.
