Originally from Beijing, China, Daniel Li is the first person ever on the Webb Hall of Fame because of his love for basketball and dedication to leadership. With favorite memories of playing basketball during open gym and cherished friendships with Tiger, Anthony, Ender, Justin, and Tyler, Daniel’s time at Webb has been filled with camaraderie and laughter. As the student government technology commissioner this year, Daniel brought innovative ideas and a strong work ethic to the table, working behind the scenes to create amazing events such as Prom and Homecoming with special effects and engaging music. Living by his love of Kung Fu Panda and the saying “Why not?” by Russell Westbrook, Daniel finds inspiration in the simple joys of life. His father’s hard-working influence and passion for biomedical engineering have led him to pursue this field at New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Studies. Daniel’s future is bright, as he envisions himself working in a major tech company Silicon Valley, all while embracing the memories and friendships he’s cultivated during his time at Webb.
