If you think Master Splinter in Ninja Turtles is wisest person in the world, you need to consult Neria Spence immediately. Whether you are feeling sad, need someone to crack a good joke, provide you with sagacious advice, or need fine tunes, Neria will always be there for you. You’ll always see her at the senior benches and in the library for her Friday DJ sessions. Her amiable and approachable personality explains her many leadership roles, helping students at Webb feel more included in our community: she is the head peer advisor and leader in both the black and Jewish affinity groups. Outside of Webb, Neria also loves exploring every bit of California by paying frequent visits to LA, hitting up multiple concerts, or going to the movies every Sunday with her friends.  Though Pennsylvania might not be outside of the States, Neria is attending Swarthmore College this fall to accomplish her dream of working at a peace court and residing outside of the US. She will miss her old life back home — her friends, being a part of a trust-based community, and stealing candy from teacher’s offices.
