Balling from Zhongshan, China, Alan Wang has experienced a significant transformation during his time at Webb. A passionate athlete, Alan excelled in basketball and swimming, spending countless hours honing skills and building deep relationships with teammates. His weekends were often filled with shooting hoops, enjoying music, and periodically visiting to the seaside, where the tranquility of the ocean provided a perfect escape from academic pressures. Looking ahead, Alan plans to study Environmental Science combined with business, driven by a deep-rooted connection to nature that was fostered during childhood. As he transitions to college life at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Alan will miss the close friendships and California’s sunshine, especially the cherished moments spent chilling on the beach. Guided by the mantra “Live a life that you will remember” and the soulful tunes of Daniel Caesar’s “Always,” Alan is ready to start his next quarter of life with an easy swish.
