Few are dedicated to the craft of cello as much as Boris Sun, who can often be heard practicing well into the night in his dorm room. He brings this same dedication to his role as a dorm prefect, committed to enforcing the integrity of the Webb rules to an extreme that others often fail to consider (such as catching students who are up after 11 p.m. through STAS messages). A master cellist and first chair in his position, he gracefully leads his fellow musicians in creating beautiful melodies. Boris loves the music performance afternoon activity with Director of Instrumental Music Mrs. Linda Silva, as it is an opportunity to further improve his musical skills outside of orchestra. He also sees the rhythm in keeping the body healthy, enjoying Dean of Campus Life Mr. Ken Rosenfeld‘s Honors Sports Literature. Out of the classroom, Boris plays League of Legends and Magic: The Gathering in his dorm room, maintains a close relationship with Alvin, Justin, and Frank, and goes out for lunch during the weekends with them. Transitioning into the next stage of his life, Boris is majoring in Accounting at Pitzer college, and he will miss his friends and the lively atmosphere at Webb.
