Although the term “people watcher” may have a creepy connotation, Emily Black is a proud one. With her keen interest in psychology, if you catch Emily when she’s not drawing or laughing among friends, she’s most likely trying to analyze the inner workings of passersby. A proud Jones Dormitory resident and quality time enthusiast, Emily constantly engages with those closest to her. Whether it’s in her roles as head waiter and admission ambassador or watching cartoons with her friends, she infuses Webb with her lively spirit. While at Webb, she has grown to realize that seeking validation from others is futile. Webb prepares to bid farewell to Emily as she heads to Brandeis University to further her study of people, majoring in Neuroscience and, this time, focusing on the human brain. We will forever be inspired by her boldly creative outfits and signature catchphrase “T,” and Emily will continue to do great things in life that the rest of campus can’t wait to watch.
