Nick Grobler

Nick+Grobler

Born in Manhattan but now calling Rancho Cucamonga home, Nick Grobler has gone to extremes to make sure that his high school experience was a memorable one. Aside from serving as class vice president and playing all four years on the WSC varsity soccer team, Nick’s favorite Webb memory was sophomore year when he and other classmates toured the college he would eventually attend — Northeastern University. Looking back, Nick recalled some of the mistakes he made, stating that his biggest regret was not trying hard enough on his college applications. He learned that shortcuts don’t always pay out, now offering the wise words of his father Dr. Nicolaas Grobler Sr. to others that “the hardest thing in life is to accept that which we cannot change.” In the future, Nick plans to study law or business with the aspirations of achieving a master’s degree. Friends of Nick call him humorous, intelligent, and reckless, adding thathe thinks he’s Paul Walker. Nick will miss the warm California weather as he is going to college on the East Coast and spending his first semester abroad in London, England.

He’s given me a lot of wisdom throughout my high school career and has always been there for me. I’m sure many others would say the same.
