An exuberant presence all around campus, Naomi Kang can be found in the theater, the Korean culture club, the varsity basketball team, ISL, and open mics. With all her participation in on-campus opportunities it is clear: what she values most is people. Her fondest memories are all based on the connections she has with Webbies, from chatting in the South Hutch lounge to joining team sports. As an ISL member, Naomi uses this openness and kindness to create an environment on campus that celebrates everyone. Her leadership is not just limited to ISL. Naomi, with a passion for sciences and math, has been an unwavering support and inspiration for the two other girls in her physics class because of her ability to speak her mind with confidence. Outside of the classroom, Naomi, performing all four years, is a dedicated member of the Webb musical program. What makes Naomi a unique, talented actor and singer is that she takes part in the musical not to feel the glow of the spotlight or the attention of the crowd but to experience the community built around a shared interest and love for theater. In the next few years, Naomi is looking to further her education on the topics she enjoys the most, math and science, as she plans to take the pre-med track, focusing on human biology and mathematics.
