Aiperi is a Bush. Yes, Bush is a part of her name, Aiperi or Peri as her friends know her. But she also shares many traits with actual foliage. To start with, she is green. Her hair, which constantly changes color, is currently best described as lime. Peri can also, like a plant, be found near water. An avid swimmer, you can often find Aiperi shivering by the pool deck in her yellow and navy parka. Her ‘branches’ also shelter all sorts of fauna, including lizards, worms, snails, snakes, and cats. From her outfits — often covered in spikes or colorful patterns — one might assume she is poisonous. In reality, her effusive personality keeps many of her friends buzzing around her. At Webb, Peri spreads peace, love, and plants by leading the Native Plant Society’s meetings, spending time in the museum cleaning fossils, or playing Dungeons and Dragons after school with friends. Soon, Peri will replant in Swarthmore College. Perhaps one day she will become a science tree or a famous succulent. Whatever the outcome, one thing is certain: Aiperi Bush is so much more than just a bush.
