If you are up late at night, know Xajani Badkar is up too and willing to talk about anything while working efficiently on one of her many Advanced Studies classes or AP assignments or putting excessive amounts of effort into an art project. If not drawing whales, jellyfish, turtles, or other sea creatures, Xajani is on the basketball court perfecting her layups and listening to her favorite artist Dominic Fike. Xajani is the VWS athlete of the class of 24 as the leading point scorer, starting point guard for the varsity VWS basketball team, and a track star running the 100 and 200M sprints. With a friend base stretching from Redlands to La Verne, Xajani is a very friendly character who can chat it up with anyone. She easily builds conversations about friendly and serious topics, which will shine when she studies Sociology at UC Santa Barbara. There are very few individuals with the ability to paint a masterpiece for AP Art and Design until 2 a.m., wake up at 6 a.m. to commute to school, and then drop 30 points in a basketball game — and Xajani is one of the few.
