If you ever go to the library during evening labs, you will most likely see Alexis Mumbo, working hard with Phoebe Bridgers blasting in her headphones. Balancing academics, leadership, and creativity, Alexis has worked hard during her high school years as vice president of BiomediGirls and Amnesty Club, as well as serving on the honor council. She found her voice from her favorite class, Honors Creative Writing, and explored different types of music in the afternoon activity music performance. Outside of academics, Alexis spends her time with her best friends: Lexi Lewars (‘26) and Lizzie Whitaker (‘25). The upbeat tempo of Webb Night and the vibrant energy of Theme Week will always be a part of the soundtrack Alexis carries with her. As she begins her new verse at Barnard College to study computer science or electrical engineering, Alexis leaves future freshman with this advice: “stay patient and everything happens for a reason.
