Shredding both the alpines and the challenges of school, Samson has endured an academic and personal journey full of steep climbs, unexpected falls, and thrilling Double Black Diamond downhill runs throughout his years at Webb. A certified ski instructor from the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance, he has brought the same determination and focus from the slopes into every part of school life. Whether it’s tackling the piling homework assignments of American Society or facing the sad reality of not being able to order food delivery at 10:00 PM while doing such homework, Samson has always known how to stay on track, even when the path ahead isn’t groomed. When Samson is not busy effortlessly scraping down the mountains or navigating the bumpy obstacles of his rigorous academics, he enjoys sleeping in until 1 PM and ordering Yangzhou Fried Rice three times a day from Tasty Noodle House. Though the lift ride through Webb is coming to an end, Samson is already eyeing the next summit, poles in hand, ready to carve a new path in his Pre-Med study at UC Berkley.
