In any crowded room, Finn Bulson is impossible to miss—not just because of his bright, curly blonde hair, but because he will probably end up talking to you. Yet, his greatest passion is something that communicates without words: the classical piano. No matter how chaotic the day, you can find Finn practicing concertos and movements at Nelson 101, honing his improv skills or preparing intently for his next concert. To Finn, music is a universal language that creates a shared sense of community that he’s proud to be part of, and he channels the same spirit into the Webb community. While his titles include varsity cross country runner and Piano Club president, Finn’s real strength lies in the energy and heart he brings to any environment he shares. Whether it is leading discussions in his favorite unconventional humanities classes such as Advanced Studies Existentialism or Advanced Studies Art history, sharing his love for music at Jubilee, or tearing up the dance floor at Homecoming and Prom, Finn knows how to create a good time for everybody around him while balancing his passions with a strong sense of purpose and dedication. Finn will miss the close-knit community at Webb as he heads to University of California Los Angeles next year with a major in Piano Performance. As he continues to chase his dreams of being a concert pianist, Finn will continue to bring joy, music, and conversation to his new community.
