Whether he’s leading the basketball team on the court or hopping between dorms to hang out with friends, Andrew Paik lives life in fast motion—quickly, confidently, unbothered. As a three-sport varsity athlete and Webb’s very own athletic commissioner, Andrew’s legacy is one of team effort and school spirit. His favorite memories include attending the LAFC game, participating in theme week, and bonding during the Unbounded trip to Death Valley—all of which reflect his fun energy and love for friends and adventure. This energy is also evident on the courts. As the captain of his basketball team, Andrew isn’t just known for his hops (his friends claim he jumps like a grasshopper), but also for his effortless ability to bring people together as team captain. Andrew’s carefree attitude and unique talent—especially for “finessing” last minute assignments with ease—make him both an admired and beloved member of the Webb community. When he’s not bouncing around campus cracking jokes, you’ll find Andrew indulging in YouTube videos on cyber-intelligence or jumping around with kids in the Young Athletes club, helping them find joy in athletic activities. As he springs into his next chapter at USC, there is no doubt Andrew will bring the same spirit with him, ready to keep succeeding both on and off the courts.
