Known for his soft-spoken nature and explosive speed, Griffin finds his stride both on the cross-country course and in Creative Nonfiction, where he learns to be just as bold on the page as he is at the finish line. Whether he’s hiking the hills behind Webb with friends or racking up Runner of the Year titles, Griffin chases every moment with quiet determination and a full heart. Running gives, him a sense of control, clarity, and completeness as well as the thrill of pushing past limits, both physical and mental. Griffin believes that nothing compares to the raw focus of racing, and at Kenyon College, he’ll keep chasing that high while considering a major in either political science or business.
