Despite her exterior aura as a Doberman, independent and strong-willed, Payton is a Golden Retriever when you get to know her. Throughout her “furtastic” four-year journey at Webb, Payton has travelled long and far, whether it’s glueing fossils in the museum after classes or binge-watching a new TV show like New Girl while being cuddled up in a warm blanket and her dogs on her lap. Not only does Payton attract furry friends with her compassion and kindness, but also with humans including her best friend Christina Young (‘25) and twin sister Caitlin Delgado (‘25). When she’s not jamming out to Dreams by Fleetwood Mac during late-night drives, Payton dreams of helping animals and traveling. As she heads off into the next chapter of her life at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, preferably with a fluffy companion, she will miss family, friends, her beloved dogs, and all the memories she made with those closest to her throughout her journey in and outside of Webb.
