Lindsey Azurin has always had a quiet but powerful way of understanding the world through writing. From middle school journals to creative writing pieces that explore identity, imagination, and emotion, writing has been her constant outlet and way of expressing herself and her understanding of the world. “It started as journaling, just a way to clear my mind,” Lindsey said. “Now it’s something I can’t imagine not doing.” Whether she’s capturing her day–to–day thoughts or inventing entire storylines, Lindsey’s writing reflects a deep curiosity and sensitivity to the world around her. During high school, her passion for writing helped her make sense of change, challenges, and personal growth. She found strength in solitude and clarity in creativity, and her words often spoke volumes even when she stayed quiet. She is someone who notices the small moments, something evident in both her writing and her friendships. As she prepares to move to Wellesley College, Lindsey is excited to keep writing, both for herself and potentially for others. “Even if I never share it, it helps me understand what I’m thinking,” Lindsey said. That honest relationship with her voice on the page is something she plans to carry with her. Lindsey isn’t just writing stories, she’s writing her life, one page at a time!
